I reckon you could probably pass for Adam Ant yourself with a bit of lippy. For someone 'hardly that radical' there does tend to be a coincidental overlap in a lot of your views with a lot of the modern far right school of thought.

My wife has a fondness for old musicals, god knows why, and we watched a colour version of 'Holiday Inn' which is currently available in monochrome on SKY movies. It has a particular number in it called 'Abraham' which I thoroughly recommend that a certain few posters here never watch as it might cause them to need medical attention. However, it should serve as an indication of how far we have come since the 1940s and put some snowflake nonsense people complain about today in a better perspective. That said, it should be a total embarrassment for those on both side of the argument.

"Banned"? I doubt that's true. Required to abide by the rules, along with everyone else? Probably. "Not an echo chamber"! Now, that's hilarious, but I wager you don't realise why.

True, though a lot of what you call 'far right' was just considered 'right wing' back in the aforementioned 80s. Also personally I'd say that as far as 'far right' ideologies go (I prefer to think of it as dissident right) I'm pretty much on the left wing of them. Though funnily enough you do find lots of left wing ideas in there. Some economic socialists for example. But I suppose every large enough collection becomes a broad group. Of course, it has meaning and that cannot be "whitewashed" away just because a certain mindset wants it to be. Words can alter their meaning over time, but only when generally understood differently. Not because of the wishes of a minority. The Oxford Dictionary defines it as, "Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior." Our country, and the world generally, has changed. Where once racism was disregarded, or not even noticed, it has now become unacceptable, alongside other types of discriminatory behaviour. That some don't like those changes is inevitable, but as they aren't going to be reversed, it seems to me they face these choices. 1) Come to terms with the changes, find a way to live with them, and be happy. 2) Continue a futile fight against them, upsetting yourself and others as you do so, and stay unhappy. 3) Move somewhere where the standards you desire are more closely aligned with theirs. Hungary perhaps? Then you can be happy until the modern world catches up there too.
