With no spectators, probably no corporate events and much reduced advertising one wonders how FFP will affect them as surely they must be racking up huge losses Did I read somewhere that, they are considering doing away with FFP? What a surprise! What will SP use as an excuse now?

Looks like Howe is off to Celtic and reading the article, I bet it was us he turned down: 'The 43-year-old knocked back the vacant Blades position and one other top-flight side, currently with a manager in position.'

For Howe it makes sense he will probably spend a few years there hoovering up the trophies that Rangers don't win then like Rodgers back to the PL to a bigger club than Palace or the England job. It might also explain the rumours in the last few days that Dyche is our first choice. Edited by Badger11 (01 Apr 2021 7.20pm)

Bullet dodged. I really believe that. I agree! In my view he is not tested at premiership level. He was a favourite there but took the chance to leave when he could (insulting Palace on the way) and then ran back to Hampshire when things did not work out for him. He might have taken Bournemouth up but equally he took them back down again. I remain otherwise neutral as to future managers - unless it is Rafa of course!
Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time! |

In his first spell at Bournemouth,Howe was working under a transfer embargo but still managed to get the club promoted to 'League One'. He was working under constraints when a number of clubs approached Bournemouth for his services and he left for Burnley. He left Burnley for personal reasons following the sudden death of his mother.

Nobody has suggested Howe has ever had anything to do with Scotland. Daft post.
