Three of those are against teams that could pull anyone's pants down (though we bent over for good measure). Today would normally be about not making any daft mistakes and matching them for effort, then hoping our forwards can do something more than theirs can. How good a plan that might be, we never got to find out.

If Hodgson plays the same way against Brighton we are screwed. Alas he will play the same way with a couple of player changes that will make no difference :-(

Even with 9 out today - Roy had sufficient resources available to him today to achieve a better performance and result than that..!! Players are just not playing for him, it's as plain as the nose on your face and its been like that for weeks if not months..!! Roy has got to go and go now - he's race is run..!! COYP TheBigToePunt's post made good reasonable sense, yours is of a fan who's just witnessed his team having their pants pulled down and against a team with no better players then us apart from the Eleven we played today.

A team who before today were struggling score this season beat us comfortably at HOME. And did the double over us. Just let that sink in!

Not much to add other than the obvious Roy needs to go . Rot started 12 months ago , new contracts to garbage players , zero ambition. Rotten from the top down. My choice of drink tonight maybe we should rename the team

That's why I scrubbed a post I had just done at half time. I totally understand the anger, and today is probably not the time for the likes of me to try and put the managers performance in its proper context. I'm not saying (and never have) that it's wrong to conclude that Roy should go. I just think the grounds on which he should be assessed are misjudged far too often. We let players off a tad too lightly, but more to the point, we lose track of where we are in the bigger scheme of things far too easily.
