I saw an article today that said although a 30m deal had been agreed with Brentford, he had yet to agree personal terms. He seems very much about the money, so depends if West Ham offer him what he wants.

The article that I read said that west Ham had cancelled the deal as they wished to concentrate on Joshua king instead

If this is true, this just highlights the changing picture in relation to transfer activity. Transfers can be 'Off', then 'On', then 'Off' again and negotiations can be complex and protracted and of course can ultimately lead to abject disappointment.A great deal of twists and turns! Yep Willo totally agree.. It reminded me of a story I read on the train to a Business meeting regarding West Ham that made me choke on my morning cup of tea..!! So basically translates to West Ham are in deep financial “do do”, even more unbelievably Gold and Sullivan are cross charging between us 4% and 6% on Director loans. And we moan about SP, Harris and Blitzer..!! So if you translate that to current circumstances they have no money..!! I suspect that their whole commercial model is based upon gate receipts - hence the move from Upton Park to the Millennium Stadium. On this basis if they get relegated they are in serious “do do”..!! So I seriously question whether they can afford Benrahma - hence maybe the move to King..!! But who knows perhaps they’ll play the wheel again and put it all on Red - time will tell..!! But it does probably explain why so many West Ham supporters are up in arms and wanting rid of Gold, Sullivan, Brady et al.. COYP

COYP I am not 'Au Fait' with W.Ham's financing arrangements or their financial position. What I understand is that in terms of 'Net Spend' on transfers, the figure for the previous 2 seasons was nigh on £140 Mill. This season they have received some £550,000 more than they have spent on transfers.

Indeed, some many twists and turns but some still feel inclined to slag off those who give information Some would call it information while others would call it made up BS. I think some posters have asked that this subject is best left alone and that means that opinions on both sides need to take a back seat. You can’t keep pushing you’re opinion and expect others to stay quiet. That goes for posters on both sides of the argument.
