If Cardiff can get a couple of wins it will really set the cat among the pigeons. 1/10 to go down with the bookies though they are very rarely wrong.

Next weekend Cardiff away to Burnley followed by a midweek trip to Brighton. They have to pick up a minimum of 4 points from those 2 games to have any chance of survival. I hope they beat Brighton. That would makes things very interesting.

How high can we finish? It would be great to hang on to the current 12th slot. I think the only team above us we could catch is West Ham, taking us to 11th, and that would be difficult. I predicted at the start of the season we would finish tenth, so not so far wrong, after all the ups and downs. It would be great to finish in the top half next season.

Brighton fixtures : Home - Newcastle,Bournemouth,Man C,Cardiff Cardiff at home then Bournemouth at home coming up. If those don’t go according to plan the pressure could be on. That’ll leave them Newcastle at home to get it done and they probably will in that match but it would be great to see them fvck it up. I wonder if they’re championship ready?

As much as it would give me great joy to see Brighton relegated, I can see them surviving with Cardiff being relegated. There has been mention of Warnock not carrying on.

It would be nice to finish above West Ham as we always seem to be linked with the same players as them and it might help us if people see that we have finished ahead of them

We won't compete with West Ham. They are God's chosen people. Happy go lucky Cockney's who saved the Tax payer a load of money by inheriting a white elephant stadium and who are run by some serious pillars (possibly dildos) of the community businessmen (and woman) who are now friends with the establishment. They also had Bobby Moore once. We stand no chance.

Yes, I was at Highbury that day too. I remember someone had a transistor and we were following the Southampton match at Oldham. Oldham went 4-1 up, then le Tissier scored two and had a nailed-on penalty turned down. If it had been given, le Tiss (who never missed pens) would have sent Oldham down instead of us. So I am not counting chickens either. However Palace are now being quoted at 1000-1 against for relegation. As for who goes down, Cardiff are heavily odds on and Brighton are around 10-1 against. I daresay it has occurred to some people that we could help Brighton get relegated if we lose our match at Cardiff. Edited by peterg (15 Apr 2019 6.42pm)
