I have answered all these hackneyed accusations before. But thank you for your observations and thank you for keeping the thread on track as I had suggested. Returning swiftly to the subject matter and in keeping with my message, I was sitting there last night during the dying embers of the game with us losing 1-0 moaning to someone that it was now going to be only 1 win in 9 games !!!! We laughed about it at the final whistle !

But thank you for your observations and thank you for keeping the thread on track as I had suggested.

Returning swiftly to the subject matter and in keeping with my message, I was sitting there last night during the dying embers of the game with us losing 1-0 moaning to someone that it was now going to be only 1 win in 9 games !!!! We laughed about it at the final whistle !

Massive rush of blood and 100 percent wanted to chop him. Which he quite successfully did. I’ve seen reds given for less.

I was sat about 10 yards away in the main stand and was watching PVA and the other bloke have quite a lot of verbal.
Massive rush of blood and 100 percent wanted to chop him. Which he quite successfully did.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'PVA Foul' by Midlands Eagle Indeed but in the context of that game it wouldn't be red because that would have been inconsistent - ref had let all sorts of things go which e.g. Bobby would have booked. Actually the only yellow he gave at all until Cleverly's first in the 70th or so minute was to luka for dissent, and Watford were pretty agricultural. In that context a yellow for that was fair and so were the two yellows Cleverly got. Madley or Clattenburg would have sent him off and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Indeed but in the context of that game it wouldn't be red because that would have been inconsistent - ref had let all sorts of things go which e.g. Bobby would have booked. From the moment he signed he was interested in giving it to away fans next to him. He's too bothered about his own world rather than the team and he's not the only one as we know. He needs reprogramming or hopefully selling. Criticising him at RB isn't fair though. He's a LB and came at LB before Mensah got injured. Kelly not coming on and Sako instead was possibly to put pressure on them more rather than more defenders which roy already did with PVA on for Townsend, even though it was for yet again last minutes of width and a go at points. At half-time I was so depressed at how we were being outplayed that I decided to leave early if we didn't get back into the game. We had more of the play after half-time but I still couldn't see where a goal was coming from. But something urged me to stay and then came those magic last ten minutes, starting with the Cleverley red which Watford appeared unable to adjust too. Even so I was settling for a point when Wilf turned it on one last time - and I went home ecstatic! So: last minute wins against Stoke and Watford, last-second equaliser against West Spam plus (sadly) blowing the chance to win in added time v Everton. The right place at the right time
