Do we have a breakdown of the perpetrators of knife crimes in Glasgow? The only one I recall is Tanveer Ahmed stabbing Asad Shah to death there because the former disagreed with latter's interpretation of the peace loving religion of Islam.

While innocent till proven guilty is fair to everyone I give a tentative thumbs up to what appears to be happening in Hollywood. We can look at it cynically but we can also look at it as possible karma.

Weinstein does appear to have created an opening (forgive the image) where the less powerful are more confident in coming forward. While....again, one false allegation can destroy a career a Hollywood where abuse from the powerful is accepted is not ok.

Executives and players in Hollywood should be wearing recording devices....much like Police should do as a way of ensuring a defence from false allegations....we live in an age where that is very possible without any real inconvenience.

But all these accusations need serious looking at and I hope some good comes from it. A re-balancing and consigning of the casting couch to history is no bad thing......though it still does nothing against the starlet who willing chooses to f*** her way to the top and hence may succeeds over the perhaps more talented girl who refuses.
