So depressing to be strongly linked with these two garbage players. Is this really the direction the club want to go? Niasse is absolutely dreadful, a total joke and if we sign him we deserve to be releagated. The WHU lad has been slaughtered by their supporters as having an appalling attitude. And we want him? At this rate the next time the Afican Cup of Nation is on we won't be able to field a five-a-side team. Totally disagree about Niasse. He's a much better player than Sakho and a totally different quality. Yes, he dived for a penalty. Are we gonna hold that against him all his life? Bad attitude for the future to keep going down like that, but he did what he thought was best for his team in that moment. Can be corrected easily. He has the strength to keep his own and not go down

If he did that in a Hodgson team his arse wouldn't know what had hit it.

Quite happy if this has fallen through. The last thing we need is another injury-prone striker with an attitude.

Ssn are now reporting that one of the Palace heirachy who don't wanna sign Sakho is Roy himself! If true then we definitely shouldn't sign him if the manager doesn't want him. This may turn out to be another of those Palace shambles that we are getting used to on a regular basis!

I don't want an egotistical arrogant player in our squad - if that is what he is - and his videos look like he is - and not that brilliant either.

That fits with what Roy said a few weeks back, he said that Dougie and Steve Parish were working on a list of names and that they would then bring the promising targets to Roy to approve. It is a bit strange if we did a medical before asking Roy about him though, but could be all rubbish anyway. Agree we should not bring him in if Roy doesn’t want him.

I thought the whole medical story had already been disproved- he was in training with West Ham at the time it was meant to be happening. This whole saga smacks of media BS & the latest chapter a clear attempt to deflect from this. I’ve ignored anything reported from ‘Sky sources’ for a few years now as there’s enough evidence to believe those sources are at Skybet. I would like them investigated & be made to provide absolute evidence for their reports which generate a flurry of betting via their own company - it just looks like blatant profiteering. They were a lot more restrained before they owned their own bookmakers.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Oddly enough I think that the stories have the ring of truth about them

The old adage not to believe anything until you see the player holding the shirt is still true.

I would have liked two or threee players in by now but I would much rather that Roy gets the players he wants.

Haven't really followed the thread entirely but Chapman on radio 5 just asked Parish if we'd made a concrete offer and Parish said we haven't. Edited by Rudi Hedman (13 Jan 2018 5.32pm)
