I must confess that I still don't understand the end game of this Trans stuff. It is not a vote winner (if anything it must actually put people off. Plenty of Left wing opposition to it) and is, at best, an issue impacting on what is statistically a non-featuring % of the population.

Part of me, and element of the old tin-foil hat here by way of a proviso, wonders if it is actually part of a study into mass manipulation of populations? With the 'trans' issue a kind of test subject? A methodology to see what works and by default does not, in terms of swaying public opinion? Because in an of itself then its utter nonsense that makes almost zero sense.

There are book's worth of material that could be written about the end game(s). There is coordinated power and there is emergence behaviour and everything in between.....I would say it's 2/10s of the former and 8/10s of the latter myself.

The end game is always to retain power.

The method is to weaken possible opponents to that and to fund division within those perceived threats.

The wealthy will always get the choices of the life they wish to lead while your children will have to live the lives decided for them.

Let us hope gentlemen that a split in the elites will eventually emerge and that once again normality will prevail against the various degeneracies planned for our prodigy.

How we or rather they deal with things economically....I have no idea.

I fully endorse this but, and I think it is crucial, there is not a 100% take up by the Left. As much as I like to disparage them at any and every opportunity, there are strong voices from within Left Wing circules trying to resist this lunacy.

Which is why I am a little wary of just writing this off as a 'Left' wing assault on our traditional values. In many ways Left-wing opposition to this potentially comes with a greater risk on a variety of levels than those of us on the Right.

It's the long game.

The pushback in the main is in the older generation who didn't go through the propaganda currently being unleashed on the young.

If you look at the social attitudes of youngsters, especially at the higher universities (which is where the leaders are) you see alarming rates of progressivism and no real pushback is allowed.

There is hope but it isn't in ways I'd prefer.

Yup I think this is a case of give an inch...

They will push these minority issues, and as you say statically it really is a minority, meanwhile the average person in this country is too frightened to speak out because the attacks when they come are vicious.

All of this is in the left playbook to soften us up. Just read Animal Farm.

It's really quite sad to see these attitudes here, which are really just another conspiracy theory with no actual factual basis at all.

Just who are "they" pushing these minority issues? How have the "left" got control of the agenda?

It's nonsense. All that is happening is that previously unrecognised, or marginalised, groups, are finally finding the freedom to use their voices. Overall our society is now more willing to listen and to then to help. That there remains a significant number who aren't yet on board with our changing standards is only to be expected. All change is uncomfortable and often resisted.

As with most changes of this nature there are those who will try to push things too far, or too fast. It will settle down as common sense prevails.

I was not even aware that homosexuality existed until I was in my 20s. That was how uneducated we were back then. It was illegal and not spoken about. I thought it was mental illness for years and later that gay marriage an abomination. Now I have some female friends who are among the nicest you could hope to know and are very happily married. I have learned.

What, how and when we teach our children about this is beyond my knowledge. I am just sure it must be, so they grow up fully aware of the modern world, ready to fully participate in it, contribute to it and not be frightened of it.

Meanwhile people are being harassed on social media and even threaten in person, losing their jobs and being de platformed but hey ho it will settle down eventually so that's all right then.

Not we, you.

How many of you know who Raymond Weber is?

In 2021, Weber, a 31-year-old Black male, live-streamed himself on Facebook with murdered two White girls, one of them 15, that he had just shot in the head.

It's taken them till recently to set a date for his trial, and the media haven't made any huge racial narrative or any other narrative about it. It's been kept relatively quiet.

However, if this had been a white guy murdering two black girls on a Facebook stream you'd know about wouldn't you. You'd be hearing about racism and 'marginised groups' three ways to Sunday.

Also, because Facebook is a social media platform that the powers that be find useful they are spared from the same attention and criticism that a platform like Parler or Twitter today would get if a murder had been livestreamed on their platform.

Perhaps some people should reflect on why an 83-year-old British woman asking another women whose running a charity focused on black woman where she is from is something you know about whereas you'd never even heard of Weber.

I can see this news suppression eventually kicking-back against its obvious motives.

Like the black charity worker who is about to be exposed,...for stuff

Not quite sure these days whether it's the Government/business manipulating the media, or t'other way round. Ultimate goal , either way, is to manipulate the population,

People get harassed on social media all the time for all kinds of things. I have suffered myself. It's not nice but that's the way it is these days. The easy answer is just to stop using the platform, or block the perpetrators. I have had to do so several times. Losing a job is obviously more serious, but as I am unaware of this would need to see the evidence, and the context, before forming an opinion.

Being "de-platformed" is an over blown issue. People can invite, and cancel, who-ever they wish to speak at an event they manage. Want to control things yourself? Hire a hall, advertise the event and carry on. Or go to speakers corner and stand on a box.

You go to speakers corner and opine about
BLM, immigration, LGBTQ etc and see what happens.
You will ask why should you as you have no negatives on these but go and act it to see. Speakers corner is now the myth that was a place for freedom of speech.
