Call it voting with my feet. Let's face it. Many constituencies including mine are certs for a particular party.

I'm not voting on the basis of the leader though, our local conservative MP is an utter cock - Who really isn't interested in representing his constituents only his own views. There in lies the problem. Its not really about who the muppet on the stand is. Its about your local MP who will be elected. That said, we have a crazy running as well from Direct Democracy, who's flyer has him represented as some Dungeons and Dragons character, with a crystal ball, some good old Illuminati pyramids and some classic 1% waffle. Seriously, it took me five minutes to work out it was an election flyer, and not some kind of new cult thing. All very commendable but in practice, that's how it'll be, though. No matter how good (or bad) a constituency MP may be, it's the tactical and floating votes that'll determine the overall outcome. A General Election, in the eyes of the electorate, is always a question of who should be Prime Minister.

Yep. Because the population are mostly dumb c**ts. The people voting en masse, more often than not, make the correct decisions, eg: Brexit, Scottish independence vote. This is because they tend to vote for what is in their own interests and not for idealogical reasons. Edited by hedgehog50 (31 May 2017 2.14pm)

I have now watched the interview, he had two paper pads as well as an iPad. The figures were not on either paper pad. He was being interviewed about the launch of that specific policy. he should have had those figures to hand, it should have been point 1 or 2 of a list of bullet points. If the interview had gone on to something else e.g. NHS, then it would be reasonable for him not to know all the figures off the top of his head or have them immediately to hand. Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance I agree, of course he should have known those figures. He's trying to convince us he's competent enough to do the top job in the country!

Yep. Because the population are mostly dumb c**ts. Dumb is a relative term. The current world of media is seriously testing our politicians and exposing their flaws. They seem to be on a learning curve. Believing in politicians to fix your life and be on your side is akin to believing that God will do the same. Vote for the people who can do the job they are paid for the most competently and don't expect more.

I think Jeremy Corbyn has been an absolute revelation a good message relevant manifesto his good humour and mainly his energy. Mrs May is revealed to have no personality no policies and latterly just personal abuse. He is all we have to prevent a one party state and a dictator with unlimited powers.

How is this going to come about exactly?
