Everton now put a £30m bid in for Awobi, it appears they have given up on Zaha. Unless they are trying one last time to persuade SP and completely unsettle Wilf. Hope he rips their a**es on Saturday but not sure that will happen

Talksport reporting that Everton have just bid £30m for Awobi. They suggest it could be because they dont expect to get Zaha. Didn't they just report Everton were preparing another bid for Wilf? If I was them I would get a new team of sources. Thought Jim White was "the most connected man in football" (presumably self-professed)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I have heard that the moshi bloke at Everton is just a front man for the Russian who had shares in Arsenal, Usmanov, it was reported he is worth a lot more than Abramovich, he could easily afford to go to 100 million for Zaha, lets hope Parish won't sell at any price this close to the transfer deadline

Hope he rips their a**es on Saturday but not sure that will happen I couldn’t see him playing or starting before this week’s saga. Even less so now. Backs against the wall game it’ll be. Everton can be toothless themselves anyway.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle ‘Indeed, the Eagles are even considering offering Zaha improved terms on his current contract, which runs until 2023, in a bid to appease the wantaway winger. Roy Hodgson is also considering another potential sweetener by offering him a more central role in his attack this season.’ Slightly concerned y how much we’ll be increasing Zaha’s wages, unless it’s because he knows Everton were prepared to pay him much much more and that’s possibly a problem and for 1 year of harmony it’ll be worth it I suppose.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
