Yeah, as in how many people he took for mugs investing silly money in things they don’t fully understand. He’s already playing the woe is me card Just another (admittedly clever) shyster
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |

He’s already playing the woe is me card Just another (admittedly clever) shyster Let's not forget that plenty of people have actually made money out of crypto. I've noticed that crypto angers you and I certainly agree many people have been conned. Anyway we both know that since it blew up that it's been manipulated to hell. The con artists who run economies certainly aren't going to allow a libertarian ideal destroy their own circle jerk scam. Sure Crypto, like many other markets, operates as a wealth transfer device for big money. However it leaves it no better or worse than any other.

Trump 'Major Announcement'. This is just too funny. What to get the MAGA moron in your life for xmas. Only $99 dollars but knowing how dumb those guys are they will probably sell out. Poor Donny, I guess he must really need the money to humiliate himself like this.

Once Tether goes, it's going to be a bloodbath. Just looked and it seems to be an investment to earn interest only. Not sure the benefit unless you invest tons of dough. I can only see someone or plural nicking the investments causing it to fail. It does have gazillions of money invested though so a failure will affect many people.

Musk has banned 20 reporters from Twitter. I think he has a point some idiot has a Twitter account that tracks Musk's private plane real time. 2 days ago when his young son landed at an airport there was a stalker who trailed the car and at one point leapt on the bonnet. The stalker was also filming himself. It's quite clear where he got the information from. Various news website and journalists have re twitted this live information about Musk's real time whereabouts which is why he has banned them. Predictably these outlets are in meltdown about freedom of speech but where is there commonsense. How is it in the public interest to know where he is every moment of the day especially after this stalker incident. Rather than ban them maybe Musk should set up a twitter account tracking the families of these journalists real time let's see how they like that.

How is it in the public interest to know where he is every moment of the day especially after this stalker incident. Rather than ban them maybe Musk should set up a twitter account tracking the families of these journalists real time let's see how they like that. It appears that they had all shared 'recently published articles about Musk’s suspension of a Twitter account that had shared publicly available data about the movements of his private jet', rather than personally giving up to the minute updates on his location. That's not typically something technology journalists would make a habit of doing. Some had reported that his plane had landed one day before, in one of the largest cities in the US. You're giving Musk and his version of events weight to the point that reality readily conflicts with it. Where planes are located at any given moment is publicly available information, but if he wants to ban an account on a platform he runs that's of course his prerogative. He should certainly have the same expectation of privacy as anyone else in the limelight and good security around him to keep any nutjobs at bay. Plus if what he said happens as he stated, he might want to file a police report stating so, as he's not yet done so. Beyond that he's really just another version of exactly what he criticises, but from a different perpsective. Twitter is now a one man show and will come to reflect in most instances the interests of that individual, whether political, financial or emotional.

We don't really know what's going on behind the scenes of this. However Musk certainly has a lot of enemies on the left now....it's completely hypocritical of course in relation to how Twitter was run as a Democrat stronghold but these are polarized irrational times. I've always seen Musk as an edgy centralist...as much as that is possible. However, since he lost one of his sons to the trans lobby who now hates him I think he'd decided to be more political. He certainly should be concerned for his life and taking whatever precautions are required for that. Unlike his enemies I trust him to have a far greater belief in real world freedom of speech than they ever had so I think the platform will emerge to reflect that.....From the moment he's taken over his teams have been been wiping child exploitation and bots....both of which the previous regime seemingly had no real issues with. Eventually I can see him leaving Twitter back in the hands of Jack Dorsey, who while is pretty 'progressive' is also a true libertarian who actually seems to care about speech. It was the activists who came in that screwed that platform up. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 Dec 2022 11.22pm)

I don't know why you guys don't just ignore him.....DeSantis wins the Republican nomination in my opinion.

I spotted this sorry it's behind a paywall but basically Trump's ban on asylum is about to end and it looks like thousands are gathering on the border.
