Todays first download is a bootleg by Van Morrison that was recorded in Montreux, Switzerland in July 1980. This bootleg is in superb quality - really top notch sound and is a wicked set by Van the Man. VM bootlegs in good quality are quite rare as he had a policy of employing companies to hunt down sites with his bootlegs on them and have them taken down. These days Van has relaxed a bit and no longer does this... and there are now more boots available. This is a crackin' set which ends with some tracks from a show he performed in San Enselmo, California in 1973. Some classic stuff on this one which is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Toto that was recorded in Rotterdam, Netherlands while they on the "Tambu World Tour" of 1995/6. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording of the show. I've posted a fair few boots by Toto in the past - this is another cracking show which features classics like "Africa, Roseanna and Hold The Line". If you like Toto - this is thoroughly recommended... This is another bootleg of unreleased tracks, demos and outtakes that are in superb quality. The versions of "House Of The Rising Sun" and "Tobacco Road" are amazing and worth the download on their own. This is a top notch bootleg - thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by CSNY that was recorded at the Fillmore East, New York on the 4th June 1970. This is in superb quality and is a wicked soundboard recording of the show. CSNY played 4 nights at the Fillmore - I've previously posted the gig on the 6th June. The set list differs slightly from that show - but it's another top sounding bootleg considering it's over 40 years old. A crackin 14 minute version of Southern Man on this one - the track that Lynyrd Skynyrd mentioned in their song Sweet Home Alabama... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Cheap Trick that was recorded in Chicago on 4th July 1999. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've posted lots of boots and albums by this band over the years - this is another top sounding show. This show was recorded while the band were on the "Music For Hangovers" tour of 1999 and is a wicked show... if you like CT - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by Aerosmith that was recorded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1976. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording. I've posted loads of boots by the Toxic Twins before - and a complete discography not so long ago. This is an early set but a good one with some great guitar work by Joe Perry. If you like Aerosmith this is thoroughly recommended...
