Or I'd argue, if the public demands to see their increasingly extreme and polarised views on society represented, the demand for outlets providing this will rise.

It sometimes feels as though you either identify as a manifestation of your own narcissism, hate the nuclear family and wish to see all traditional cultural and elsewise structures crumble these days to justify your own failure, or you're an equally angry right wing reincarnation of a certain Austrian from history.

Some people are just left in the middle however, considering the above a circus which makes no sense and despising the polar ends of this spectrum equally. The majority of these people are found in every day circumstances with the aforementioned predominantly found online. Then you get the real weirdos, who support clubs like Palace and spend time that should be dedicated to work on one of it's supporters forums during the day

In any instance, the BBC does a decent job serving people within the middle of the chaos and will increasingly come under attack from those pushing further to the ends of the political spectrum, as an almost natural and logical course. It of course always will employ individuals too, and individuals are not without any bias whatsoever, so may stray from time to time but I would suggest within a reasonable spectrum.

I use it and shall continue to do until such time I think it has pushed beyond a certain limit. It's far from that for now as I see it, even if some things/articles/commentaries irk me occasionally.

Well said - it's utterly mind-blowing how caught up in their own delusions people get - "the BBC is biased, everyone else is biased, but I couldn't possibly be - I see it for what it is" is essentially what people are arguing.

The 'oh-so-left-wing BBC' have spent the last few days equating protests against the actions of Israel as being supportive of Hamas, and a threat to Jews - they have had to apologise on this point already.

They have consistently referred to the numbers of Isrealis killed versus the number of dead Palestinians over the last week - the good guys are killed, the bad guys just die.

It is a fact, and they were widely criticised for it - the fact they are reporting a new development differently does not change what they have done previously.

Almost like they were responding and adapting to a rapidly unfolding situation, with clear caveats. Strange, for a live news media outfit. But of course, they would have been the only one to do this.
