And when i say ill, i mean as ill as half the posters on here have said they think they had it in feb, jan, dec, etc, only boris was tested, and obviously as Chryrst said, is more important to the country than us, so had to go into hospital and icu where all the life saving equiptment is, as a precaution, maybe we all should have the luxuary of a text and a precautionary hospital bed , just in case? Nope, you are definitely looking for spanners.

Saw an interesting thing on channel 4 news yesterday, about the warehouse full of PPE the government have, it was like b an q, very impressive, until you saw the report,,,for the past ten years it had just existed fully stocked, nothing wrong with that i hear you say? Well, the thing is, these things have a shelf life, as you said, and they should have been sending out the stuff nearly out of date to the hospitals, and renewing with new stuff to go at the bottom of the line! The thing is they didn"t. so all the stuff had to be binned, out of date, unfortunately, we can"t blame the previous government for this, only the government in power for the past ten years!

The country and more people are screwed without a functioning economy. Some lefties might like it not to be but it’ll have to be. Everyone at risk will have to stay in or risk doing what they want to, possibly when people are working.

Because hospitals probably had enough stock for 'normal'times. This situation is very not that for sure. They had enough gloves, masks, aprons, ventilators etc. The NHS have their own procurement procedures for different areas and trusts. Why do you think the stuff in the warehouses was out of date. Probably because these trusts went elsewhere for their stock even though they must have known that warehouse was full for all those years. It's a bit like blairs devolution plan. Singing from different hymn sheets now when it would have been better singing from the same one. Both nationally and locally everyone has been given their own autonomy and now the proof is it isnt working. Too many chiefs, not enough indians.

I don"t buy the nearly died bit mate, thats a good sympathy line to go easy on him, he wasn"t on a ventilator and probably in icu as a precaution, but we will never know, for now anyway! On the cobra missing meetings, i can understand one or two, but not all five! Either he was not interested for whatever reason(bar almost dying), or the cobra team in place were all absolutely useless with no handle on the meeting and should all be pumped! Take your pick mate, but not the almost dying story! Your posts smack more and more of desperation as you seek to rubbish the government's performance in every way you can

Yet more rubbish from you. I wouldn't mind betting that pubs will be one of the last places to open up again thus rubbishing your conspiracy theory. The coronavirus pandemic isn't the time to play politics which all of the major political parties understand and agree with leaving it to just a few keyboard warriors to make fools of themselves
