This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Surprised the Everton offer was rejected. May be something in the purported Chinese interest insisting that Zaha stays in order to get the supposed deal over the line. Who knows what really is going on as speculation continues??

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I don't think he's going anywhere. Most of this is coming from Salthouse as this is the only way he knows how to try and get moves for his players. Salthouse can't get the big moves and I think this is his last chance as Wilf's representative, hence the aggressive approach this year. I reckon he'll stay, get rid of Salthouse and he'll be gone next summer.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle SSN now saying that Everton deny offering £70m plus McCarthy and Tosun. Also saying that Palace looking for £80m, implying that they are still in the market to sell. Trouble is, you can't tell how much of this is mere p*ss and wind.

I think he is going. If so, why so f***ing late in the window? How do we attempt to get anyone in. I do now believe this is all to get the Americans some money back and therefore we, the fans, have been sold down the river. I don't think he's going or that we ever had any intention of selling. I think we slapped a huge price tag down knowing nobody would pay it, and it was a good decision.

I was going to ask the same. The quote is in the 3rd person so presumably it was not Wilf talking. Perhaps it was one of the mysterious Sky Sources More likely to be one of his supposed brothers

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Have always admired Wilf but if he does jump ship to Everton all his hype about playing Champions League football was a load of bulls*it, he has maybe become greedy like so many players these days. Plus departing three days before the start of the season really does leave us in the mire.
