As what anyone says, you included, doesn't matter at all, the waffle belongs solely to you.

Rhetoric has been the stock-in-trade of Putin since day one. He only takes action against those he perceives as weak. Making these noises now doesn't change anything.

The plain fact is that neither the USA, nor any Nato member, is involved directly with this war. They have been very careful to draw a line and stay behind it. Russia can choose to regard anything that curtails them as unacceptable, and issue all the threats they like. That's what bullies do. Nothing has changed, and only the weak run from bullies. We need to continue to face him down. It's always been dangerous, no-one denies that, and Putin possibly being on the ropes makes it a little more so now. Which is why the Chinese could be the ones to broker a peace.

Nato is entirely defensive. Providing assistance to Ukraine, so they can defend themselves against aggression, is completely a defensive act.

Why don't you flee the country.

A standard response when someone has no cogent argument to offer, but cannot admit it.

It's Trump like tactics, as taught to him by the attorney of Joseph McCarthy, Roy Cohn. When in a corner, accuse your accuser of that you are guilty of yourself.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

I've answered all of these points.

You just want a never ending repeat of the same arguments and back and forth, either that or your memory's going.

Just want to add releasing a horde of rapists, murderers and whatever else from these prisons to the front line with minimal military training is not going to end well.

They are going to be stormtroopers tasked to operate in the combat zone for six months taking ground. Many of them won't survive and I should imagine far less will end up walking the streets than if they had served out their sentence.

I would say sending billions of dollars of military equipment into a mostly lawless country is also pretty stupid for our own future security....but hey, no one seems to care much about the consequences of that.

If the Russians want to increase their manpower and fight with their most scummy prisoners then that isn't going to affect us in Europe but be their own internal problem.

All those sodding weapons though....that's something else.

Answer points?

You just trot out the same old appeasement reasoning that failed in 1939, because you are unwilling to deal with a bully.

Putin relies on people like you.

The guy scared of physical violence waffles on about appeasement.

Easy to be brave when it's other people dying isn't it.

I'm not a neo con, cheering on the continuance of a pointless war.

The dead of either side lying on those battlefields are there because of people like you.

With people like me this war would never have happened.

I warned on this very site that electing Biden would bring foreign wars.....which you denied, and as usual you were wrong.
