we've just bought McCarthy and it looks like camerasa is coming too - we seem to be seriously preparing for like without wilf, still be nice if he stays though If anything I’d say if we have signed McCarthy it means we’re even less likely to sell Wilf. Surely Everton would use him as leverage in a swap deal rather than just selling him to us.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle SSN reporting just now that Everton offered £70m plus two players, including McCarthy, yesterday afternoon. Palace turned them down, but said they wanted at least £80m. If true, a deal could still be on. Wilf said to be very disappointed that Everton's bid was not accepted yesterday.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle He told Sky Sports News: “Zaha is continuing to train with Crystal Palace but I can tell you that at this point in time, and it’s very understandable, he’s very disappointed. He’s very disillusioned and I understand that he feels he’s been priced out of a move.“

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

I cannot see him being disillusioned he can't move to Everton. If Palace make a statement by signing McCarthy, Camarasa, a decent right back and a Striker then Zaha can help us push Everton this season. As for the part about being 'outpriced', I really hope that's not his attitude because we have seen with the likes of Harry Maguire, if the Player is on board and loyal with the club, you get the price you set. Zaha knows 80 mil is more than fair.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I think he is going. If so, why so f***ing late in the window? How do we attempt to get anyone in. I do now believe this is all to get the Americans some money back and therefore we, the fans, have been sold down the river.
