Where to start with this...?

Labour hold 45 out of 73 seats in London. Look at a map of how the country voted last time, Labour already gained 7 seats at the last election in London. It's their stronghold, and I daresay they'll gain a couple more. But the vast majority of marginals aren't held in London. When people talk of Labour being in an Islington bubble, this is exactly what they're talking about.

Surely you can see the irony of saying May is "preaching to the choir" when Corbyn is doing rallies to huge crowds that already support him? Maybe you're right and I'm wrong, but I just don't see how Corbyn's campaign strategy helps him win back seats in the Midlands for example.

I think that Labour were overly cautious about getting corbyn in to marginals. That was, i think, mainly down to those MPs not wanting him there, but i bet they wish he was there pulling in crowds of hundreds now.

Look at the polls. Labour have made up 8 points in a week in scotland, have a 10 point lead in wales and are rapidly increasing their vote among the old and working classes. His politics are reinvigorating areas which labour had taken for granted. He has clearly managed to appeal to a far broader group of people than any of us thought he would. Whether it's enough...let's see

I think Serial should write a blog and Nick should read it.

But other than that...

Oh come on. Do you really think in, say, halifax, may visiting a group of tory members in a closed off town hall is going to inspire doubting voters down the road to vote for her?

Or what about if you were a floating voter and walked past the thousands waiting to see corbyn. May not make you a corbynista straight away, but will at least make you curious.

There's absolutely no correlation between big rallies and electoral votes. Ask Michael Foot.

On Halifax, let's see tomorrow eh The one fear I have is that May has actually alienated quite a bit of her base (myself included) who may not be quite as motivated to turn out as the Corbynistas. I'm basically voting for her to keep out Corbyn, with a very tightly fitted peg wrapped round my nostrils.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Moat tax?

Double drive tax?

I wouldn't put it past Corbyn to have to implement a garden tax or leave your rubbish on your lawn advice once the country is on its knees, or May to implement a tax for not having a garden, even after her JAMs steps of number 10 speech which is now worthless.

But even with door knocking, each party has a complete record of every house's residents and voter histories. She will only have knocked safe tory houses, even then a few have challenged her and she's wilted.

Look at this link. Even respected right wing journalists have been incredibly frustrated by her for not taking a broad range of questions.

The aim of visiting areas is to engage with the people who might win you the constituency. If you can find me one example of her actually leaving a pre-planned space and meeting real people, i'll admit i'm wrong.

For anyone interested in democracy, accountability or rigour, her performance in these past 6 weeks is a total f***ing farce.

Actually I'm more interested in keeping a terrorist sympathiser, Communist, CND vice chairman out of No.10.
