But not wholly substantiated. There is too much of this in the game now. yes, i don't think any players are going to do a group interview saying they hated the manager. the fact that he was fired after finishing 8th should tell you there's more to the story than wins and losses.

When Big Sam resigned I thought there will be plenty of time to find a suitable replacement and be ready for the new season. However, another day passes with no appointment and it looks like we are going to behind in pre-season squad preparations again. The time it is taking is now becoming embarrassing.

Secondly if a company only has one executive director and only one director received a salary it is a reasonable assumption that the salary went to that person. Most teams players aren't back for pre season for at least 13-18 days. Even if it takes another week to get a manager, he would still have a whole week to find his way around the club before working with the players.

The best thing about this dragging on is that we're not 300 pages into Transfer Talk. Kinda hard for the press to link us with all and sundry when we still don't have the head honcho appointed!
