Theresa May has visited the greater range of seats during the campaign, with the Prime Minister travelling to 68 different constituencies. Labour's Jeremy Corbyn campaigned in 63 seats, while Liberal Democrat leader Tim Farron took his campaign to 37 different constituencies, an analysis by the Press Association has found. Mrs May made 63% of her campaign visits to Labour seats, taking in 23 Labour-held marginals. Mr Corbyn focused more on Labour strongholds than any other type of seat, spending 37% of his visits addressing the party faithful, compared with only 5% in Labour marginals. This is why Corbyn will lose.

Like saying 'i've been to paris' but you never left the airport...

Just because she's not hosting rallies, and doing small Q and A sessions in warehouses doesn't mean that's all she is doing. Special mention to the Lib Dems and Fallon who have been focusing on areas that voted in favour of Leave.

London is definitely not all Labour. Start of the election it was polling mainly tory, and seats like battersea, tooting, croydon central are important marginals. But i'm more interested in what you say about May. When you say shes 'campaigning' in marginals, what part of her campaigning is actually aimed at winning over voters? She does a speech to tory party members, takes handpicked questions from the media and locks out people trying to get in to hear her. That isnt campaigning, its preaching to the choir and shielding yourself from the public.
Labour hold 45 out of 73 seats in London. Look at a map of how the country voted last time, Labour already gained 7 seats at the last election in London. It's their stronghold, and I daresay they'll gain a couple more. But the vast majority of marginals aren't held in London. When people talk of Labour being in an Islington bubble, this is exactly what they're talking about. Surely you can see the irony of saying May is "preaching to the choir" when Corbyn is doing rallies to huge crowds that already support him? Maybe you're right and I'm wrong, but I just don't see how Corbyn's campaign strategy helps him win back seats in the Midlands for example.

But even with door knocking, each party has a complete record of every house's residents and voter histories. She will only have knocked safe tory houses, even then a few have challenged her and she's wilted. Look at this link. Even respected right wing journalists have been incredibly frustrated by her for not taking a broad range of questions. The aim of visiting areas is to engage with the people who might win you the constituency. If you can find me one example of her actually leaving a pre-planned space and meeting real people, i'll admit i'm wrong. For anyone interested in democracy, accountability or rigour, her performance in these past 6 weeks is a total f***ing farce.
