Immigration is a UK wide policy she could have said that she didn't agree with it and would personally look into the 2 cases to ensure they were fairly treated. Then as a responsible politician she should also have publicly supported the police and border officials. It's not just her Labour and Tory as well they keep throwing the Police under the bus.

Partly the reasons for this state of being isn't due to finances, it's due to political and social choices.
