In the end we go with our intuition, often based on scant evidence, past events and observing recurring patterns.

Well worth a watch if you want to see just how close Trump came to dying, it also puts to bed the claim by a poster here (by proxy of his wife who works for the NHS) weirdly insisting the bandage was over the top.

No one has suggested he wasn’t incredibly lucky and could have died! Only that the injury he got was not of the kind needing such a dressing. The pet doctor he got to apply it has subsequently said no stitching was needed. It was just a graze. Something the doctor at the hospital confirmed. I saw a picture of him taken at the rally which showed only a tiny scratch on his ear, with others on his cheek, which were suggested could all have happened as he fell. So there is reason to doubt the “shot in the ear” narrative and suspect it was just Trump doing what Trump does and overplay everything to his advantage. Which rebounds against him with many as at a time when sympathy was available from everyone he has managed to be the attention seeker he always is.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |
