Yes you are right to say we dont agree. You are speaking like you know what you are talking about yet claim Hughes and Shlupp are getting worse. I'm not going to answer any of your points because I cannot be bothered to write a novel and I have better things to do. You seem the type that is determined to disagree regardless anyway.
All I will say we are not on the training ground day in day out. We can all make decisions and observations based on what we see on a match day. Thats fair enough up to a point. When fans talk as though they know more than the manager I tend to switch off. Its embarrassing.

I think most would be of the opinion that if the perfect or even a decent replacement were available a change could be helpful. Helpful, not a magic wand. The new guy would still face the same injury problems that Roy is currently dealing with. And now Rak-Saki is apparently also injured the creativity is even more sparce. But looking at the candidates being mentioned I cant really see how that change can currently happen right now.
You have the much mentioned Cooper (because he is available). He did well with England youth and he did well in the Championship. He did not do well in the Premiership. As mentioned by many he had literally ten times the budget at Forest he would get at Palace as well as half the injury problems. While at Forest (during a torrid time where forced to sack Vieira) Forest were never once above or even close to us in the table. Only my opinion but for those reasons I definitely do NOT think he would be an improvement especially with the current limited squad. The owners quite obviously are not interested or he'd have been approached by now.
There is Lupetego who did a decent job at Wolves but the rumours of his outragous demands that prompted Wolves to pull the plug make him sound too expensive for Palace.
Potter has been mentioned. I wouldn't be against that but some sections of our fanbase would be quick to jump on any poor performances and tolerance would be far less because he is ex Brighton. Plus if you read the news it seems he is holding out for a bigger job to become available.
People talk about Paddy which I think is truly ridiculous. Not only is he part of the coaching set up that everyone is complaining about but on top of that you dont risk £120m a year income on a total novice.
Freedman has been mentioned by a few as a short term option. From what has been said by people that know him, he doesn't want it. Not even on a short term basis.
There's Paolo Fonseca who is currently working in France with Lille and while he has expressed a desire to manage in the Premiership and has revealed he will not renew his contract he is absolutely not available until the summer.
Same situation with England No.2 Steve Holland who has made it known he wants a job as a no,1 after the Euros. Until the summer he is going nowhere.

There will be other candidates out there that I haven't mentioned or thought of but for me there does not seem to be an obvious improvement on what we currently have out there that is available until the summer which is when Roy will be leaving anyway. I realise some will feel anyone would be an improvement but that is really just silly when you look at Roy's experience.
