Keeping in mind that we are an established prem team, its not really that bad. He was successful with England, with Swansea, and then got Forrest promoted and kept them up. Although beating Brentford doesn't mean that suddenly everything in our garden is rosy, I think the fact that Palace haven't made a rush to get Cooper in could mean that they are not entirely convinced that he's the right man.

With Cooper being strongly linked with the now vacant Brum job it's a real litmus test to see if, or how seriously Palace want Cooper to succeed Roy. I don't think Brum will hang around with a new appointment so the Palace hierarchy will have to make a decision or lose the window of opportunity.
