Bit harsh on Cooper. What does that make Rooney?

What one word would you use for Roy?

Roy: Methuselah.

As for Wayne, was reminded of the FA Cup Final against Man U. This fellow Palace supporter shouted Granny Shagger every time he had the ball. Was fairly amusing at first but went on the whole game!

People like you. A bit OTT.

We're not a top team so need to be realistic with our manager ambitions. He's kept a newly promoted team up, and Forrest are currently 1 point below us. Keeping in mind that we are an established prem team, its not really that bad.

He was successful with England, with Swansea, and then got Forrest promoted and kept them up. Not saying he is the messiah, but he's not a fool.

Nah, theres way better out there. You might think the club we support dont have a chance with a better quality premiership coach. I think we can do way better than Cooper

Although beating Brentford doesn't mean that suddenly everything in our garden is rosy, I think the fact that Palace haven't made a rush to get Cooper in could mean that they are not entirely convinced that he's the right man.

With Cooper being strongly linked with the now vacant Brum job it's a real litmus test to see if, or how seriously Palace want Cooper to succeed Roy. I don't think Brum will hang around with a new appointment so the Palace hierarchy will have to make a decision or lose the window of opportunity.
