Seconded. They are treating the public like simpletons. For me that message from 'Chris Sutton' really took the biscuit. I'll highlight some of what he said in bold. 'There is a difference between Black Lives Matter the message and Black Lives Matter the organisation.' Errr...Chris, that message was started by that organisation. All lives matter, but the distinction that black lives require a special focus is a political one. One is about fighting for equality. The other's UK wing has courted controversy by calling for police funding to be cut and an end to free trade with Israel. ? Equality does not advance one group above others. I'm not one for delving too deeply into politics but for me, that is not what Black Lives Matter has ever been about. This movement has always been about the powerful over-riding message it conveys - that the lives of black people matter as much as anyone's.' An organisation that has never hidden its marxist and anti capitalist aims. It's association with the black power movement isn't hidden either and we see plenty of black players using that political sign as they kneel. That has bugger all to do with equality and we see many attempts to whitewash these organization and so justify their own stupid behaviours. This display of virtue signalling has a massive pick and choose element to it and if the blm account had kept quiet these morons would still be pushing lies onto the public. Edited by Stirlingsays (02 Jul 2020 1.34pm) What he really means here (bold italics) is he forgot to read, as did all virtue signalling idiots, the small print with regard to the BLM movement. Well, I say small print, perhaps even the big print as the marxist aims fill their manifesto. Edited by Eaglecoops (02 Jul 2020 1.48pm)

I can accept that a certain number were and are clueless....but as the retired Karl Henry proved. There are those who were well aware of this organisation before it suddenly became fashionable to issue distancing statements. Edited by Stirlingsays (02 Jul 2020 2.14pm)

Steve Parish and CPFC are now backtracking as they've finally realised what we have been telling them all along and what was obvious from the beginning, that BLM is an extremist group. CPFC were all in from the start, even going out of their way to post this 'Black Power' clenched fist image of our Senegal-born midfielder on the official club website.

It went completely over dumbo PVA's head when he was questioned about the goals of BLM on Twitter. Such a big man to barb with Katie Hopkins on social media. Meanwhile, Wilf Zaha says very little and just gets on with helping charitable causes in Africa and locally. Respect for this guy. And fair play to the HF for their banner which enabled something actionable like text £5 to the local food bank. None of this virtue signalling nonsense. Edited by Penge Eagle (02 Jul 2020 2.52pm)

You raise a good point tonymikejoe, the very concept of buying a player is in the context of slavery, an odious one. If football can actually do one thing decisively, surely it is to cha ge the language of the transfer market. Get it's own house in order before lecturing the rest of us. As I have said before, I am teetering on the brink of withdrawal. In fact, that's it, I am finished with it.
