There needs to be a rethink at Selhurst Park in all areas of the club.
Manager and Staff need to be told that playing for a 0-0 draw every week is no longer acceptable and be given 6 matches for an improvement in performence and results failure to do this will terminate their positions.

Director of football needs to be sacked and replaced with someone who knows what they are doing.Someone who can see we need Forwards

Players need to understand their roles and put into positions they understand and for start all of the new players transferred in should be starting as is the case with all the other clubs who have bought players in.

Finally the Board needs to accept responsibility for the welfare of the club and if it means more finance then that is what they should be resourcing with new ownership if that whats required .

The fans as loyal as they are AND the best in the land deserve better from all at CPFC.

Someone I know has money on Hodgson being the first PL manager to go.

as per usual...when teams allow us possession we cannot break them down.

No idea but he is getting boos from a small group which you can hear on the tv mics.

Categorically NOT from the Palace fans. We sang his name loud and proud from before the game and all the way through.

He got a lot of stick from the home crowd that grew considerably worse after their Number 2 began persistently fouling him and he had a go back.

The very worst of Hodgson.

Truly ridiculous substitutions and once again he shows he simply cannot make in game tactical changes when things aren’t working.

Sheff Utd will be cock a hoop with that but soon they will realize we are one of the worst outfits in the league on our day.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

This I agree with, to my knowledge he didn't jump for a hoofed ball once, defenders beat him everytime.

Also agree that our service to him is on par with sunday league(tho that's prob a disservice to SL)

That sums up the display. I am not going to blame Benteke. We played a team with 3 big Centre backs why oh why not keep the ball on the ground? We did it last season

That performance set the alarm bells ringing.
Sheffield Utd did not look to be a good team and we still did not look like laying a glove on them.
Can any of us if we were to play them next week feel confident of a different result?
I accept that Freedman and Parish are partly culpable but do not think Hodgson should escape criticism.
We play with nine behind the ball against a newly promoted team as if we were facing Manchester City.
Benteke is totally isolated and if Zaha doesn’t turn up for any reason ( like today) we don’t look like scoring.
Townsend and Meyer as wide midfielders spend 80% of the time passing backwards and sideways.
None of the midfielders break forward to support the front player.
You have to believe that these are tactical instructions.
Even when we went 1-0 down early in the second half we never showed any real intent going forward and the substitutions looked confused.
At the end we resorted to pumping the ball long which was meat and drink to their defenders.
In short I don’t believe Hodgson gets the best out of the available resources, although I am sure many on here will disagree with me.

Well after a few hours reflection Im with the majority on here that that was unacceptable .
I can take being beat by a better side , a team that's s***e or a team that is just plain lucky .

I cant accept being beat because we showed no heart , no desire and no commitment .

That was as worst a performance I can remember

Give it a rest. No-one who posts on these boards can forsee what is going on within the boardroom. I, for one, like people like Dazza to post.
For what it is worth, I think the Club have been sold down the river by the Americans and that is why no decent transfers happened (although I do think Camarasa will be good) . SP must accept a lot of the responsibility for this I am afraid. He wanted them in, for what purpose? How many Americans have turned out to be good owners in the PL?

I dare say what has happened in the Summer plays a big part in this.
Bats gone, Wan gone, Wilf gone in spirit.
No new forwards.
Things are not looking good at all.

Agreed!

This is the long and short of it IMO. Their involvement has brought nothing but complication and diluted messy ownership.
