Dannyh - because you have said that I have not given a counter argument, (twice) read the link on my reply quite a while back. It contains hundreds of words countering your own views. So please be polite and don’t tell fibs.

Please don’t bother to reply as there will be nowt not already told by you in long, long detail.

If you are the person I think you might be and wish to remain incognito, I won’t go into details. But you might have provided me with liquid refreshment in a couple of Selhurst establishments in the past.

This grumpy old geezer has only thanks for that.

Please don't get me wrong I have no ill feeling towards you or any one else on here, I have no need to remain incognito lol, I just couldn't recover my old account so had to make a new one.

I have had loads of beers with people from this site and enjoyed everyone of them, well except Eagleman13 he's to old to understand LOL.

But yes it's me Dannyh the original one and only, I thought the V2 bit might give it away but apparently not

Anyway I've said my piece on this one, so peace be with you I'm out.

(unless bike repair man comes up with anything remotely credible )

You have enforced my view that it is pointless to argue with a bigot.

You have further enforced my view that you have no debating skills what so ever, have no point to make other than a jingoistic outlook to your little piece of red plastic that you don't even own. You have not (can't) argue any of my points. You have resorted to name calling the last bastion of a child like mind, You accuse me of being a bigot, well look up the meaning sunshine because trust me on this one, if anyone is bigoted round here and displaying a pathetic little englander attitude it's you.

It's almost comical how you are blinkered by your own " towel on sun lounger" mentality ( or just mental I can't decide ).

I will sign off from this now as you clearly can't see the wood for the tree's.

The singing section will happen whether you like it or not.

You will have to move whether you like it or not, the club is bigger than you

The HF will be back as will the atmosphere. no one will miss you if you don't turn up, nor me or anyone else.

That's not me being nasty it's just a fact.

Parish is a hypocrite where the HF are concerned. The club state they can relocate season ticket holders but only under certain conditions (see below) Nothing about moving fans out to accommodate another group of
fans.
See also 11.1.2 of the T&C regarding a serious breach.
Seems the HF can flout these T&C and get rewarded for doing so with better seats. Will the club take action if the HF flout the no standing rule next season? Flying pigs come to mind!!

2.8 The Club may from time to time relocate a Season Ticket Holder from their usual allocated seat to
an alternative seat within the Ground where this is required for operational reasons (such as and
not limited to assisting the redevelopment or refurbishment of any parts of the Ground),
to comply with any requirements of any Football Authority in relation to any Match, or (c) the Club,
the police or any other applicable authority considers a relocation is required for safety or public order.

Without prejudice to the general nature of the above the following actions shall constitute serious breach
of the Terms & Conditions of Entry:

11.1.2 persistent standing in seated areas whilst the Match is in progress;

Before we finish our little dialogue i must say your use of the word jingoistic and phrases like "towel on sun lounger",are most peculiar.
You berate me for supposedly calling you names, then contradict yourself by doing exactly the same thing you accuse me of.
And a little bit of information for you.
I sit no where near Block E,but I can see the outrageous injustice being imposed on those that do,and they deserve the support of genuine Palace supporters who are disgusted at their treatment.
Anyway farewell......oh,and enjoy singing in the choir.

Your whole argument is based on some supporters being better than others, which is fundamentally wrong.
A season ticket is sold on the basis, that it can be renewed at the end of the period for the seat allocated. If you look at big clubs that have waiting lists for season tickets, they don’t refuse to renew on the basis that other fans now want them. It’s done on a wait until the current occupiers no longer want them.
This has been the way football clubs have operated for years.
The creation of a superior fan that can have any seat they want, would not be entertained by 99% of football clubs as it is a dangerous route to take.

The difference between the example you have given above and the reality of the situation is that SP and the board wish to introduce a singing section directly behind the goal.
What is the likelihood that those who have sat there for a decade or more suddenly wish to give up their seats? Slim at best.
Stating that "it's how football clubs have always operated" is not looking to the future. Things often have to change to avoid stagnating. Clearly home atmosphere across all clubs in the Premier League is poor and stagnant, at least SP and the board have the balls to break the mould and are trying to address that.

So the club's own T & C is not worth the paper it's written on then!!
