Presumably on July 1st CPFC will announce either the arrival or sale of Guaita.

There is a somewhat buried news item that Everton keeper Robles about to join Getafe

 

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Various people I have spoken to in Spain who watch 'La Liga' on a regular basis have informed me that Guaita is a more than capable goalkeeper.They all rate him.

Getafe finished 8th last season which is very creditable and someone has just texted me to say they only conceded 33 goals in 38 games, the 3rd best in La Liga.Not checked this - will take his word for it.

Now that this opportunity for speculation has gone we do of course need others. So....will Wayne stay now or go if this chappie is to be our first choice keeper and will he actually be our first choice keeper or will Roy, not known for making changes unless pushed, stick with Wayne?

And for the "moneyballs" stat-munchers out there, of the free agents available, he had the 2nd highest score in Europe of "91".

Obviously, something of a Hitchhikers Guide scenario: if 91 is the answer, what was the question?

Personally, I am very happy... but can't help wishing we had signed the French lad. Kind of like the quandry you feel when you order the fish; but now wish you had ordered the lamb.
