I totally agree! Puncheon will have a better season next season and add to this Townsend has the footballing brain of Yala and Wilf put together he'll find himself in better positions to benefit from knock downs!

Townsend is not really known for his goalscoring prowess.In fact a couple of years ago I heard it expressed that his shots-to-goals conversion rate had plenty of room for improvement.

As you say it was a couple of years ago when he barely played! 6 months ago in a struggling side when he played every week he scored at a far better rate and that was in a struggling side!

This is a very interesting one as I would have thought a front 4 of Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Yala would be a force to be reckoned with. Only problem is Yala is not that great in front of goal and can be lazy. If we do sell him, I would expect Pards to go back to Newcastle and try and bring in either Sissoko or Wijnaldum to fill that goalscoring midfield role.

I've probably seen bolasie and zaha play couple of hundred times between them. Have never seen them hit a ball like I did from the away end at St James Park When Townsend smashed in the free kick last season.
