Willo is annoying as f*ck but he's right on this. Stoke are a more attractive proposition than us at the moment. They're consistently top half, and have been in the Prem for a lot longer than we have, with a more solid squad than us. We're on our way to getting to the likes of Stoke/Southampton/Everton, where you can't really see them going down, but we aren't there yet as the second half of last season showed.

Of course, it goes without saying that I hope Berahino doesn't feel the same way.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Indeed, the logic is with Willo. Plus not having to uproot and move down to London. Maybe exciting wide players and the bright lights of London will prove more enticing...

I have been out all day today in the Midlands with a Stokie fan.

Sadly, it seems that talks with his representatives have already taken place. They are more concerned about Southampton coming in late than Palace. Sad really as I really wanted this to happen.

Maybe SP will come in and trump Stoke's offer? Doesnt look good at the moment though

To be fair Arnautovic and Shaqiri aren't too shabby. I think Shaqiri will impress next season, showed some brilliance last year but had a niggling injury. I personally can see Benteke at Palace and Saido at Stoke. Odds seem to be dropping on them.

I think that might be our strength over Stoke, he will be first choice not have to rotate etc. I just have a feeling that will be important to him

I think he will be seen as an out and out first choice striker at Stoke. Shaqiri and Arnautovic are wide men and they have that Spaniard behind the forward, Bojan. The striker Diouf lost his place I think and can see Berahinho replacing him as first choice.
