It is incredible how negative the Tories are now. They have no positive message to give the public at all! 13 pages in the front of the daily mail, all smears about Corbyn and his team. They are running scared. While Theresa May is on her private plane, JC is gonna have 100000 in the streets of london tonight. Mark my words.
If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4 |

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

This could go a long way in explaining Kermit's hatred of Boris Johnson. Edited by hedgehog50 (07 Jun 2017 3.08pm) Attachment: corbyn3.png (332.37Kb)

Much of the "bill" is in contingent liabilities on EU loans to which the UK is a guarantor (legally) so it will be lower than 100bn as not all of these loans will be bad. There may well be grounds for arguing that UK is due something back from the EU or that budgets aren't legal obligations (I don't know if they are or not). But the loan guarantees are definite legal obligations. Like the rest of the negotiations I imagine there will have to be some give and take and perhaps the "bill" will have elements of clawback or overage (which seems sensible). This is the point Theresa May has bought up with the other 27 countries as they have said they will make it hard for us, but you and I know once round the negotiating table things will even out. Juncker will be choking on his breakfast wine when the 27 countries star talking sense as they know THEY know they have a lot to lose if they come down hard on us. We must remember that Brexit is new territory for all concerned so it is best for all parties to be reasonable and sensible in the talks.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

London is definitely not all Labour. Start of the election it was polling mainly tory, and seats like battersea, tooting, croydon central are important marginals. But i'm more interested in what you say about May. When you say shes 'campaigning' in marginals, what part of her campaigning is actually aimed at winning over voters? She does a speech to tory party members, takes handpicked questions from the media and locks out people trying to get in to hear her. That isnt campaigning, its preaching to the choir and shielding yourself from the public.

Corbyn might as well be campaigning on Mars for all the difference it's going to make.

And when he or his shadow cabinet do, they slip up. That's not me defending the Tories. This is me showing it works both ways. Tories have had a bad campaign and May should of debated.
