The should hold a follow up referendum tomorrow as well - the Brexit vote would increase significantly as the electorate have seen that all the scaremongering predictions have not come to pass. Really, I think if there was a second referendum, the vote probably would go the other way. I couldn't say with your certainty that I am right. Also, with an election due the following day, its almost certainly the case that the nation would want to bloody the governments nose.

Yet £1.9bn extra was pumped into Cyber Defence, where we also saw terrorism not too long ago. Edited by Hansy (07 Jun 2017 2.09pm)

Edited by Hansy (07 Jun 2017 2.09pm) I'm very curious as to what the 1.9bn was spent on, because most of the vulnerability of government systems is due to the increasingly aged operating systems in use. I'm betting its on 'experts, specialists and advisors'

Maybe ten years after Brexit. The effect of something major like this is properly measured over time. Well quite.

I just want a government that will raise revenue responsibly and spend on services responsibly. Amen. What Nick Clegg tapped into and lost a generation by giving up his no tuition fees pledge. For us to get there we'd possibly need an election that would deliver a government for about 15 years.
