This Brexit is not just a thought process. There is no sudden new dawn. It is rather intricate and complicated. A helluvalot of things have to be sorted over the next five to ten years before we will be able to move on. Leave was a protest vote. People have ranted. But I notice no one in the 'Out' camp is protesting on the streets that we invoke Article 50 now. It's like the EU is not so bad after all that we have to go sharp-ish, it appears. Would there be room on the streets for another protest Kermy? The pant wetters are out in force whingeing about the EU referendum result, the Socialist Workers Party/Momentum are out in force supporting Corbyn, the Rail Unions are out in force about Guards jobs....**** And FYI it wasn't a protest vote, it was a vote to right the wrongs of the 1975 Referendum where the people who voted yes were hoodwinked into believing the EEC would not turn into the EU. I'd sign the Article 50 now and cancel the DDM payment to the EU a bit sharpish too. EDIT: **** and the NUT FFS! Edited by Hoof Hearted (05 Jul 2016 12.18pm)

Not sure where Machiavelli is, but his illegitimate, port-swilling half-brother, Blackiavelli, is currently running for PM, provided he can dispose of the bodies quick enough. An odd side note is that Machiavelli's the Prince is more of a satire of his disdain of politics and politicians (Notably the Borgias). Poor fellow was never really much of politician or schemer at all - Quite the opposite being something of a humanitarian, republican and a inspiration of democratic movements in the west. Poor chap, his name is forever tarnished with being a cruel, b****** manipulator when it appears that he was quite the opposite.

The immigrants will be able to stay is the general consensus and we will have to follow EU rules to have access to the single market over there. Good.

May was talking about the EU migrants already here being a bargaining chip when questioned. We all know the price of full access to EU markets, that's why we're developing a plan B.

They're legally not children anymore, and have no protected status. If we're going to bar people on the basis that they're intellectually or emotionally incapable of understanding what they're doing, about 70% of the UK population is probably going to fall under that category. I've not seen any real evidence that people become more wise and intelligent as they get older. They seem to be just the same c**ts they were when they were younger, but lazier and more self interested. We generally believe that 16 year olds are old enough to work, have sex, live by themselves and to start planning out their future, so they should be able to vote.

'Leaving the EU' isn't a plan, its the title of the plan.... It is however the nickname for emergency contraception pills, which maybe more fitting with Conservative policy. Sound's like we could be heading to a end game then of nothing has changed really except more red-tape and bureaucracy and less EU funds over here for deprived areas, science, the arts, etc. Bet our rivers and seas get sh1ttier again too. And we'll have to be in the long non-eu queue at airports. That is, frankly, unacceptable. Might need the loo.

So... if we're out of the EU and trading with our old commonwealth chums and USA mainly, where is the Red Tape and Bureaucracy coming from? .....the EU have a monopoly on that! We now have the infrastructure to contain sewage waste.... but we wouldn't if Millions more arrived and yes our Rivers and Seas would suffer. As for airports, these will be quieter without loads of immigrants arriving so I guess queues will be shorter?

You could stop going on holiday and spend the money on private healthcare just in case Brexit really doesn't free up any funds for the NHS? I feel like I have solved most of the post-Brexit concerns with one stone here. Dunno why they haven't put me in charge.

Did you know that 90% of the onions sized correctly for pickling come from the EU as does the wine needed for the vinegar? I am not quite sure you thought this whole Leave thing out thoroughly. No more immigrant cebollas

No more immigrant cebollas I've said it before and I will say it again. Where were these FACTS before the referendum? Everyone seems to have a "smoking gun" as to why voting Leave was a bad idea now, but no one had one in the lead up, it was all conjecture. I don't think Farage and Johnson would've been able to argue back on the pickled onion subject if Corbyn had gotten out of his rocking chair to advertise this fact.
