I know you are joking. Trump has been found guilty by this judge before the trial even started. You know it, I know it. Everyone knows it. No one knows it, because it isn’t true. Trump and his legal team have every opportunity to mount a defence and, in the very unlikely, event of a Judge being politically compromised would be able to appeal and quite possibly see them disbarred. Your, and others, ability to see conspiracies everywhere knows no bounds.

Some of the other scandals at the BBC might not have gone on as long had staff felt confident in reporting what was happening to senior management. Your first contention is probably true. Things are better, but we never stop learning or being surprised by the way some people behave.

I guess that in your day, everyone just believed everything they were told.

That’s rich coming from someone with feet of clay as heavy as yours are. I am as well tuned in to the modern world as any of my age. I don’t believe everything I am told. Especially in places like this by people like you. I believe sources I have good reason to trust, and not those who just confirm biases.

That alone should ring some alarm bells. Most people on planet earth know that Trump is being persecuted for political reasons. How's that Biden administration going for you?

On what information do you base your opinion of their apparent behaviour? The report in the Mail? A prejudicial opinion of the BBC? They may have had any of a variety of reasons not to have reported it.

The decision, of the BBC, to make a drama-docu about Jimmy Savile. That is their attempt to put a propaganda-spin on their own failings. its a bit like the Catholic Church trying to punish paedo-priests themselves....in order to deflect the wrath of legal & financial authorities. We know that there are at least two drama-docus about Chernobyl....and the Russian movie tells a very different narrative to the movie starring Jared Harris. somebody neutral needs to make a Jimmy Savile movie....and nail those fv..ckers in the comfortable offices. What those reasons may be is speculation but they don't show the culture there in a good light.

Of course he isn’t being stitched up. He is being tried and will have every opportunity to present his defence. When and how has any of the Judges involved pronounce they wish to get Trump? I think you are swallowing too much Trump bs. Any Judge making such a statement would have to recluse themselves or they would be removed from the case. It’s impossible. Agreed, but watch that spelling!

How's that Biden administration going for you? I think that might be a stretch Hrolf. I also think that there is a good chance Trump committed a significant number of crimes he is accused of and is likely to be successfully prosecuted for some of them. He was a man so full of his own importance, he genuinely believed he was bullet proof. That said, there is a good reason to say he actually is being persecuted. While undoubtedly corrupt to the core, he is hardly alone. Plenty of equally rich and powerful people are equally corrupt but effectively immune. Yet the authorities are going hell for leather to find any possible dirt on this one man in the hope that any of it sticks. If that is a form of persecution, I think it is unarguably happening.
