When you consider Maguire has just cost Utd £80m, £40m for a French international World Cup winner is a steal in my eyes.

Hahaha. Funding for the stadium has not been released to the public as yet so although the council have offered to help, it's unknown as to how the funding will work.
Bolasie was decent for us before his last injury.

£60m plus Bolasie for Zaha???

I would almost take 60 mil and two Bolasies but it's not up to me. If Coleman were thrown in perhaps we would take it.

Would you be happy with £60m plus Tosun / McCarthy? Genuine question.

I'm jealous of Everton. You may underperform on the pitch but you are getting a shiny new stadium - helped by the city I believe.
We can't even get planning permission for a burger stand. You are chucking money around on transfers these last two seasons. You would think you must finish in the top six. Sorry about Bolasie - we would have him back though.

We have planning permission to build a giant, Parish-inspired vanity project; the problem is the owners have decided that they no longer wish to fund it or the infrastructure improvements that go with it.

No. I genuinely think Tosun is dogs*** so all he does is reduce the transfer fee by supplying us with a wage burden. I’m not in favour of McCarthy either personally as he is an injury risk and has no sell on value (will be well into his thirties at the end of any contract with us) however it’s clear our board rate him.

No firstly £15million would go to Man Utd, secondly Tosun was extremely uncomplimentary about Palace when he joined you so doubtful he would agree to this anyway. Thirdly 2 players wages wont help our financial situation unless between them they earn less than £120k pw.
I quite like McCarthy but would have jumped at him joining a couple of years ago but I fear the injuries will have taken their toll.
We really dont want to swap our prized asset for another clubs cast-offs (no offence)

If he did go to Everton I’d be done. I don’t think I’d bother at all this season. Since I have been out here I have started following the NRL anyway.

I could take Zaha going to a big club, but if he is going to a mid table club I’d be genuinely gutted. No chance if Champions league there any time soon, genuinely what would be the point?

I can’t help but think it’s just Everton trying to destabilise him for the first game of the season.

There's not a snowballs chance in hell of him signing for Everton.
