If he did go to Everton I’d be done. I don’t think I’d bother at all this season. Since I have been out here I have started following the NRL anyway.

I could take Zaha going to a big club, but if he is going to a mid table club I’d be genuinely gutted. No chance if Champions league there any time soon, genuinely what would be the point?

I can’t help but think it’s just Everton trying to destabilise him for the first game of the season.

No worries. Thanks for allowing me to be here.

I beg to differ, I genuinely believe we will field a team with the ability to challenge for top 6.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Utd are there for the taking.
I don't believe that yourselves are in our bracket quite yet

I tend to agree, but let's see how it goes on Saturday shall we?

I'm sure there is more to it than us trying to 'destabilise' him for our match. I'm sure there will have been encouragement from the player's agent for us to be still sniffing around. As I said earlier, we have money and don't necessarily need to be waiting around for Zaha if it wasn't at least a possibility for us.
I do think he will come to us and I do see us as a step up from yourselves. We have an owner who is willing to finance us and a DOF with an apparent clear plan in place. Also he would be playing with two of the most promising youngsters in world football currently.
He's been sold our plan and hopefully will buy into it. Hopefully quick enough for you to make use of the cash.

I'm jealous of Everton. You may underperform on the pitch but you are getting a shiny new stadium - helped by the city I believe.
We can't even get planning permission for a burger stand. You are chucking money around on transfers these last two seasons. You would think you must finish in the top six. Sorry about Bolasie - we would have him back though.

Of course, first game of the season is never a formality either way.

Hahaha. Funding for the stadium has not been released to the public as yet so although the council have offered to help, it's unknown as to how the funding will work.
Bolasie was decent for us before his last injury.

£60m plus Bolasie for Zaha???

To be honest, I'm surprised how well it's going for us. For years we've been in certain clubs shadows. We've a long way to go but there is a genuine feeling of anticipation around Goodison these days.

Correct, but I don't believe he will be a guaranteed starter there and as such would potentially have an unhappy player.
Probably best to take the hit for £40m

Trouble is a lot of players these days don't seem to worried about not starting. Genuine question is he worth £40million?

Err no but good try. £60 million plus Walcott and a decent RB may be more tempting
