What's the source of this latest meltdown enabling news? Someone’s invention/imagination/copy and paste. Just 95% of the transfer window then.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Can't say I'm surprised. Its difficult enough one player agreeing personal terms let alone three, all linked to a deal going through. I've loved watching Zaha and up to last week was, like most I am keen for him to stay. I've concluded over the weekend though with the wall of silence from WZ and the club that the time is now right to move on. The specualtion window after window is ridiclous and must be a massive distraction to the whole team and coaches at this stage of preseason. If the £65m cash offer is true, personally I'd go for straight cash and no make weight players and see what we can pick up in the next 48 hours. Time to let him go and move on.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I hope it's true,Michael bridge on sky saw Wilf yesterday at the Palace media day and said Wilf seemed happy and didn't come across as a guy who wanted to leave the club.

He won’t be going for £65 mil though and even less chance when there’s 2 days and 5 hours to rebuild properly. Thankfully you’re not running cpfc.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle As I wrote in previous post that people seemed to ignore (probably cos it was too positive): But yet people are still interested in a rehashed rumour about being bought for £65m and 2 players that we have been linked with for the last 2 years which smacks of lazy journalism! Roll on 5pm on Thursday!

I’ve been told that Everton are willing to pay £220k per week which is what Wilf is after. They also have plans to emulate Man City as they have a new chairman ready to splash the money. The other possibility (and the one I much prefer) is that if Chelsea can lift the transfer embargo, a pre agreement of £80m is lined up + Batshuayi + Reece James on loan for the season. We’d also keep Wilf until Jan/next summer. Chelsea also offering £220k per week. Arsenal we’re offering him a pay cut so had no interest. My source is very close to Wilf but has fed me duff info in the past so don’t know how likely any of this is. I personally think he will stay now as we haven’t got time to find a suitable replacement. I’d also feel very disappointed if he ended up at Everton. I think this is near the mark. Think we will gets Bats on loan this season as well

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle None of this hurts Everton, if Wilf, isn’t playing or not at his best, because he is wound up on Saturday , that’s as good a bit of business as they actually need for the moment.

Morning gents, Toffee in peace here. As it looks increasingly likely that Zaha will be coming to Merseyside on a cash plus player deal, who from our current squad (who are up for grabs) do you think will benefit your team? Edited by Moise_Toffee (06 Aug 2019 9.35am) Piss off
