You see this is what happens with t'internet at the disposal of folk that either have a vested interest (agents) or those looking to make a few quid (journos).

As far as I can tell these are the facts in this case:

1. Nobody at Palace has confirmed we are talking to Dyche.

2. Dyche is not actually quoted anywhere as actually stating he wants the job.

3. Burnley have not confirmed they have given permission for both parties to speak to each other.

Basically, it's all rumour, supposition & lazy journalism.

Knowing how secretive SP can be it's as likely that we're the reason Tuchel ruled himself out of the Saints job. But probably not.

Amateurish seems to be the word that springs to mind. I can feel a rant coming on, so had better sign off!

It is very well drawing conclusions without knowing all the facts.Sometimes one has to go from 'Plan A' to 'Plan B' and even 'Plan C' as various factors come into the equation.A protracted selection process can be frustrating for supporters of course but also for those responsible for getting the deal "Over the line".I suspect we won't need to wait too much longer !
