staffie, a bit of a long shot here (and feel free to ignore it if you feel it's taking the piss a bit). Many years ago I had a cracking compilation tape called Heartlands [Link] - obviously with it being on tape I can no longer listen to it on the occasion when I want a good mish-mash of Scottish & Irish music. Any chance you might be able to try to track it down please, or alternatively, if it's not available, might I be able to ask for the 9 tracks that I don't have elsewhere in my collection? These are: Whole of the Moon - The Waterboys * If 9 tracks is too much, then could I at least ask for the 5 asterisked please?
That's just the ramblings of a madman |

Todays first download is a set by Led Zeppelin that was recorded at the Kingdome, Seattle in 1977. This is in superb quality and is one of the best sounding LZ boots there is. A cracking set as well with long versions of No Quarter, Moby Dick, and a superb 20 minute version of the classic Stairway To Heaven. Robert Plant is on great form as is Jimmy Page. This is a great LZ bootleg and is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Jupiter and Saturn" Live at the Seattle Kingdome, Seattle, Washington. USA 17.7.77 - Led Zeppelin (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Disc 1: Download Links : Part 1 : [Link] Filesize : 546MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Paul Rodgers that was recorded in Birmingham in April of this year. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording - pin drop perfect. Paul has fronted some of the biggest bands in the World of rock - Free, Bad Company, Queen - as well as being a highly successful performer in his own right. He performs some great tracks on this boot and its one of the best sounding PR boots I've ever heard. If you like Paul Rodgers - this is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, England 28.4.11 - Paul Rodgers (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : Walk In My Shadow Ride On A Pony Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 132MB Enjoy!

Todays extra download is a set by Tears For Fears that was recorded while the band were on the Kings Tour of 1996. This show was recorded live in Munich, Germany and is a great sounding audience bootleg. I don't normally post audience recorded boots as they usually sound crap - this is one of the few that I will post as it sounds great. Some classic TFF tracks on this one - Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Shout and the Sowing The Seeds Of Love are all played - if you like TFF, this is thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- The Kings Tour, Live Munich, Germany 1996 - Tears For Fears (Bootleg) Quality : Excellent Tracklisting : 01 Mr Pessimist Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 170MB Enjoy! Todays extra download is a short set by The Specials that was recorded at the BBC Paris Theatre, London in December 1979. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding show - the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This file is a continuous file which means that it's one long track - not seperate ones. As it's only 30 minutes long it doesnt really matter - its a great set and it's thoroughly recommended... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the BBC Paris Theatre, London 15.12.79 - The Specials (Bootleg) Q Enjoy! Thanks for this. I'm seeing them on Monday so perfect to get me in the mood.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
