Has anyone seen this latest Twitter outburst from Trump, which is clearly aimed at 4 Democratic Congresswomen, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and Ilhan Omar. They are all "coloured", 3 were born in the USA and the other arrived as a 12 year old.

"So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!"

It's causing a bit of a political storm in the USA with Republican comment noticeable by it's absence.

I admit bias against white supremacist attitudes and complete ignorance of the facts.

Anyone agree?

Anyone really care!
The dems of all colours are seriously deluded and anti trump even if he put a Cape on and spun the world backwards.
A bit like some over here who carry on about anyone disagreeing with and highlighting certain cultures being wrong; and a bit backward in their beliefs as being racist.

Oh a lot of people care. Just because you don't means very little.

Saying that every Dem is deluded is a bit like saying every Christian is good and every Muslim bad. It isn't true.

Being anti-Trump is an obligation to common sense and democracy.

A recent report, by a respected university think tank, has established a clear link between low intelligence and a propensity to hold both right wing and racist views. Now they are trying to find out why. I will try to find it and provide the link.

It takes 5 seconds to find links to that report. Also to one linking religiosity to lower cognitive abilities.

That's a subscription only link but it wasn't an Australian one. I found it yesterday on another device and cannot remember the route, so will have to take some time.

Here it is:-

Nothing wrong with Trump's tweet saying that those trying to hurt America with their dangerous immigration policies should go back to the countries of origin if they care so much, fix their system and then come back.

I found it both refreshing and appropriate. Finally, someone willing to call these virtue signallers on their bulls***.

It is but Google will still produce the article.
William M. Briggs, Professor of Statistical Science at Cornell University described the study as “a contender for the worst use of statistics in an original paper ever” and “a textbook example of confused data, unrecognised bias and ignorance of statistics”.

To some it's a natural trait.

A bit like climate change stats then.

The vast majority of racism I'm seeing is coming from the left. They are absolutely obsessed with race. Could it be that this "report" is just showing low intelligence = racism and then going the extra step of linking racism to the right wing because it's always suited their narrative? The kind of people who think 0detention centres for illegal immigrants are in fact "concentration camps" are clearly unhinged.

Or could it be perhaps that the whole thing is just another pile of old left wing fake bollox that we can add to the ever growing pile?

"Being anti-Trump is an obligation to common sense and democracy" Yes, if you are willing to ignore any actual evidence.

I think he recent tweet was ill considered and played into the dem's hands by the way but they are awful people who clearly hate their own country or have no concept of what it took to build it.

You miss the whole point.

In 3 cases the countries of origin of the people he was targeting is the USA. Which just shows how dumb he really is.

You might then have missed your vocation because I would never have guessed it was an act. Very convincing indeed.

You could win an Oscar with that degree of skill.
