Montes is a strange one

He signed a one year contract no? So what happens next season? Also curious about how or why he would qualify for a work permit in the UK after a season in the Belgium second division.

Not sure, but Steve Austin cost six million dollars and he could run pretty fast.

Question for you on your tag line: does PV qualify? Time will tell whether he's the best, but he's certainly the coolest manager I can remember...not that competition in the cool department has been particularly high: I had some affection for Roy, but on a rainy day he looked like a fragile escapee from a care home.

We may get Gallagher yet. Think positive. Chelsea are awash with international midfielders. Here he gets to play every week. There nothing like that.

He certainly has a chance. If we'd beaten Brighton and Arsenal then definitely, if we finish 17th then probably not.
Roy was fine, kept us up, fair play, but it was hard to take to his football. Pardew was club legend so easy choice. Pulis was good for one season.
Pardew and Pulis made it (although Pulis about as far away from cool as you get - he just got so much out of an awful team). The other's didn't. I think I was a bit disgruntled in the change over after Super Al and got fed up with it. And then bored of Roy, frankly.

Hopefully not good enough for Chelsea.
At least here he is a superstar and will play every game he’s fit.
At Chelsea maybe get 10 games/ season.
Cmon Connor you know it makes sense. Most of my Chelsea mates don’t know him. At Palace he is already king.
