Seems Wickham is on his way, with Brizzle & Stoke interested.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

It goes against the grain to knock SP - but I’ve gotta admit our transfer dealings are embarrassing. It’s inconceivable to me that professional coaches can’t see that we are in need of reinforcements. I see the way Bournemouth operate and can’t understand why We don’t have the same approach. I.e identify your targets and pay the money (structured in a way that is agreeable to both clubs). why he deserves it!

why he deserves it! No I don’t think he does as a general rule I’m very happy with the way he has guided us to where we are (and it is factually correct that we hav enjoyed our most successful sustained period ever - even though 79/80 was my personal fav). But my frustration is that we don’t seem to be willing to build on it and kick on, nor do we seem to have any intention of being anything other than team up for a relegation fight every season.

Where do I start. Yes it’s great we’re going into our 7th season in the Prem but, you’re happy with the way Parish has guided us here? We’re here because we’ve been spending way beyond our means, with a wage bill in the top 8 with revenue at 14th, the worst wage/revenue ratio and we were signing players for fees and wages we shouldn’t have been doing, but we were because the setup and people at the club was complete nonsense or non existent. The reason we aren’t kicking on is because of the things I’ve mentioned, causing the money to run out and the club owe director loans of £45 mil plus whatever other loans haven’t or are due to be reported in the next company accounts. Sure Parish has hired the right managers in our different crises and Zaha against the wishes of Pulis, but there’s been so many costly car crashes followed by costly crisis management and conservatism for however long that’ll coincide with the Zaha sale that’ll mean evolving the team to make it more dynamic in more ways than it is now with so much resting on Zaha. For me the success of Parish will be following that period or, let’s hope not, relegation and seeing how the club is actually structured, improved and stronger than in 2012/13. The easy solution would be wealthy and willing to invest huge sums buyers, but Parish thought Nosh and Twister would fulfill that prayer but sadly not. They’ve probably caused issues, spending has increased, but their loans that’ll be as a result of errors they’re in some way responsible for they want repaying pretty swiftly it seems, so much so our survival could be at risk. We’ll see now the cheques aren’t being flung around to cover up foul ups how well we’re being steered. Hopefully we’ll be alright.

The first thing we need to do to restructure is get rid of Dougie Freedman.

On the basis that the transfer reports we are hearing are correct I’m at a loss to explain the strategy.

I think A strategy or maybe THE strategy is to hang in there until they’re bought out.
