Indeed. So the inference is that the only people objecting to carrying an id card are those with a vested interest. I've always enjoyed this phrase.....I never wear vests myself.

I was the id checker and no one complained to me mainly the comment I got was "its about time". The media tried to blow it up during the day a mate sent me a link from the Guardian that it was all kicking off in Bromley with people being denied the vote. By the end of the day that story had disappeared completely because it was a non event. In my poll station we had visits from the Scottish government, our MP, officials from all the major parties, civil servants and I spoke to the Returning officer for Bromley. They all said no problems. The only issue I would have is if the police could stop you and demand you produce id. I was surprised at how many of us carry id already and probably don't think of it as that.

And the people who would oppose the idea under some vague “democratic” heading are the ones who want to ignore the referendum outcome. Ironic, huh?

Triggered Swedish women and emasculated Swedish men have flooded that country with the male flotsam and jetsam off every criminally operated boat in the Med.

Went up through Whitehorse Lane yesterday and it did make me think how strange it now is that there’s a mass influx of British whiteys for a few hours for 20 odd times a year. ALL of people who donfind it strange obviously still live there or nearby.

Traditionally, they have not attended football matches but that has changed a bit in recent years.

There has also been some British white people there. Now there’s hardly any. I suppose it’s like a lot of football clubs now. Tottenham, West Ham, Aston Villa. It is a bit strange when you realise it on a non match day.
