I'd be all up for virtue signallers being able to adopt and sponsor these people, have them live in their houses and guarantee their conduct. Watch them all melt when it's not just words.

I agree with the view that we should have taken the baby. However, we were under no obligation to do so. It is purely a demonstration of mercy and an affordable sympathy towards an endangered innocence. It has caveats but part of the responsibility of the strong is to protect the weak......but I respect and understand the anger of many of the Holers here. Just my view.
