Yesterday's one on one with Cech summed up his season for me - all he had to do was chip it like he did against Chelsea last season an it was a certain goal, but no, blasts it straight at Cech. Don't know what's going on in his mind but that was poor.

No it isn't. Not in that amount of minutes. A good return is what Josh King, Llorente, Andre Gray, Slimani, Andy Carroll, Charlie Austin, Abel Hernandez, Oumar Niasse, Michail Antonio, Ighalo, Crouch, Ulloa, Gabbiadini, Mitrovic, Glenn Murray, Dwight Gayle provided. Not talking about Vardy or Lukaku in Leicester or Everton. Pretty much all the other strikers for struggling teams. Interesting to see you quoted Gabbiadini. Yesterday at 8.36am on the Eder thread (jeez how sad am I!!) you seemed to criticise Gabbiadini.s impact. Perhaps as you wanted to "diss" another player linked to Palace

I do get the feeling that Roy and some of the players (especially Wilf) are losing patience with him.

It's not just the confidence its his complete lack of effort. What the hell is he doing on the training ground and how much game time is needed for him to start firing and first of all giving a positive contribution to the team. Also please stop harping back to his goals last season, that is the past. He was bought for big bucks not to create the most assists but score goals and lots of them. Sadly lacking in every aspect. Patience is wearing thin but at this moment in time what is the other option?

I was watching goals from thd championship and other divs yesterday and j think there were 3 or 4 chances exactly the same and each player just lifted it over the keeper. Easy chance which he should have scored from.

It doesn't mean I rate Gabbiadini very highly. But his initial impact was very good Edited by mattteo (21 Jan 2018 7.37pm)

Can I ask how many times you saw Benteke play last season (live, not on TV or Football Manager). None. Zero. I don't go to the stadium. Are you trying to tell me I'm missing out on his wonderful movement which I can't see on tv? Gayle and Murray were PL players for 3000 minutes too, like Benteke had last season. Guess what they did in those 3000 minutes!

The commentators tell you what they want. I am not defending CB regarding his goal scoring record this year but please, dont act like an expert when you dont see him live. When are you talking about regarding Gayle and Murray? Certainly not last year as they were both in the Championship. Do you not think the Premiership has "moved on" since those days?

Not the impression you gave with your comments. How come? On the transfer thread, I said Eder would have a Gabbiadini impact, at best. Then fade to nothingness cause he's fat and lazy and past it at 32 years. Or he could just have a Zaza impact (that is no impact at all) from the start
