Not saying he was at fault for all of them but quite a few were down to him. OK lets have him back so he can carry on costing us! can you honestly say hand on heart jules would have stopped those goals going in?

End of the day! Last few League games with Speroni in goal, we’ve been more competitive, let less goals in, and started turning the corner!!! End of thread!

Can't really argue that , we do not know how many WH would have let in . The case can be argued that WH would have had at least two clean sheets as 3 goals could be put down to JS. Clean sheet at Newcastle = one more point , one less goal today = 2 more points.

West Ham had 2 shots on target and scored 2 goals. Not much of an improvement is it? First should have been saved.

Some could do better but 'crisp packet hands' as he's called on the ever forgiving hol radio show suggest nobody at the moment could.

The first goal was hit first time from about 8 yards out like a rocket. I was right behind it and it flew in. It might have hit a keeper and stayed out had it been hit straight at him. But it wasn't and although he got a hand to it, there's no way it was his fault it went in. If you have to blame anyone for this it was whoever left the over-lapping left back unmarked. The second goal was hit just under the crossbar from 20 yards. A 6' 7" keeper might have stopped it but I doubt it. Again, if you have to blame anyone, Luka lost the ball in midfield and then Dann failed to tackle the scorer and also allowed him to turn back onto his favoured left foot. Not every goal conceded is a goalkeeper's fault. Goals go in, no matter who the keeper is. Is there a West Ham thread blaming Hart for Wilf's goal?
