..very true and do not underestimate the difference at half time after the officiating balls up destroyed a very good first half battling display from our whole team, it would have unfairly ruined Mr Pardews plans and altered the second half drastically, the first goal is always a killer against these sides and to come back and score a beauty like we did was all down to the team being behind Mr Pardew.
The sub had absolutely no bearing whatsoever with their winning goal, mainly because it needed a real cool class player to actually score it, this game was always extremely tough and hugely against us getting anything from it, I think Mr Pardew is doing a fine job considering the injuries and missing players he has to contend with and again tonight the defending showed huge improvement for the third game running, hopefully against Chelsea the officials won't award them an opening goal and an unfair advantage for the rest of the match that Moan.u had tonight.

The morning after the night before and I agree with you except I don't think he is doing a fine job - better last night I agree.
Also the sub did make a difference and we should have been battening down not opening up - a big mistake that did not need to happen

How can you be so stupid. If the bottom 3 win a Game each, we are f*****... We needed the point and at the end of the season it could cost us. It is Manchester UNITED who dominated all game. You enjoy his time at Palace? It is fun losing every week isn't it...? Not.

Well technically if the bottom three win a game each they will still be the bottom three.

If the ref had got the first, easiest decision correct we would have been playing 10 men for 2 thirds of the game.

We all know the first was handball but the marking of Ibra was crimimal. Our CBs were nowhere to be seen again and Ward made a belated attempt to get there. If the ball had been a bit higher he would have just nodded it in unchallenged. We have learnt nothing about defending free kicks. We dont have one defender of Prem standard

The second successive game that should have happened in - mind you, we never do well against 10 men either.

Despite the officials' shortcomings, I thought we were very poor last night. Can't believe AP played Zaha up front - the craziest decision since playing Bolasie up front. You can see how his thought process works - 'Zaha scored a good goal on Saturday against one of the only teams worse than us - I know, we'll play him up front against Man Utd'. We had no shape, didn't press them at all. Yet again AP has to make a half-time substitution as his first-half tactics haven't worked again (4th time in 8 home games he's done this). Then we have the 'Campbell scored against one of his former teams on Saturday - let's see if he can do it again' moments of Pardew 'inspiration'.

Usually the morning after a bad result I feel able to put it into some kind of context.

However right now I think I feel worse. A point would have been a huge boost going into the Chelsea game but we got nowt.

Let's just hope the players can pick themselves up for the weekend. I think Flamini has to start and be an enforcer against the likes of Fabregas to break their play up.

If Damo can get under Costa's skin again it'd be ideal.

Silly decision yes but I think it was more because Punch was suspended rather than for his goal against Hull.

It was worth a try but he should have changed it sooner when it was clear it wasn't really working

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Agree with this , and let's not forget let's bring on Fryers and see if he can get another cross in like he did at Sunderland.

I just don't get it with Fryers. Either the guy's good enough to play left-back - in which case start him as he is actually left-footed and plays in that position, or if he isn't then why are we bringing him on? Just in the hope he can put in a decent cross (when we have an England international winger on the bench?).

Until you know why he made those decisions, you can't really comment.

I do not know how you can still speak up for AP, one win in the last 10 just highlights his consistent poor decision making, yet he still blames others rather than himself!

Exactly , how many times does any other team , or has any team ever brought on a left back as a tactical change so often ?
