Todays first download is a set by Mike Oldfield which was recorded in Berlin, Germany for the Millenium. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set which features many of his classics over the years - starting off with Tubular Bells - where it all began for Mike. The final track has a countdown as the millenium approaches and then the fireworks.... then the encore track which features a version of the "Ode To Joy" by Ludwig Van..... this is thoroughly recommended...

Todays extra download is an acoustic set by Hootie And The Blowfish which was recorded at two sessions in 1996. These session tracks are in superb quality - the first 10 tracks were recorded on MTV unplugged 16.4.96. Tracks 11-12 were recorded at GLR radio session 31.4.96 and the final track was recorded on the Ed Sullivan Show 23.5.96. All are in superb quality and sound great. I've not posted a lot of stuff by Hootie - there's not a lot of good quality stuff around - which is why I recommend this one.....

I had a lot of trouble finding this one - and when I did it was in FLAC format - and a really slow download. When I finally got the 3 parts and unwrapped them, I found the file was in continuous mp3 format - one long mp3 file of 75 minutes. As this was the only version I could find, I converted the FLAC file to mp3 at 160kbps and reupped it for you.... it took 4 hours in total....
