Then watch Labour split. Yep, that would probably be when that happens.

If May does get an increased majority, I actually think she will be more centrist than some people think. I think she is trying to readdress some imbalances eg triple lock, but is making a right horlicks of it. If she does win, hopefully the likes of Hunt will disappear

May is going to walk it. Clear majority that will be called a Landslide, but won't resemble the landslide of 1998. They'll more or less do as well as the last time Cameron stood. UKIP will be slaughtered, but claim victory with the Brexit result. Cue infighting and a return to being a side line show. Greens - 2 MPs. Lib Dems modest improvement. Labour will surprise many by not being humiliated, but they will call it a humiliation none the less. They'll have a leadership election, and Corbyn will still win it. I think Jamie is pretty close with this. I also think May won't survive for long if she wins, as she's shown the Tory sponsors what a total liability she is. The whistle has been well and truly blown on the blag as far as large swathes of the public are concerned. Neither TM nor Diane Abbott look well. That's an observation, not a criticism. If she can't debate with her political opponents in the UK, she's not equipped to deal with EU heavyweights. Her plus Boris, Liam Fox and David Davis vs the EU? If they win on Thursday, I hope for the country's sake that the Tories get some Long Knives out one night and install some competent people. Edited by Mr_Gristle (06 Jun 2017 10.06pm)

Edited by Mr_Gristle (06 Jun 2017 10.06pm) Yes May is proving to be pretty useless and weak as a leader. Another U-Turn yesterday. I make that 10. She can't stand up to our closest ally on critical points of national and global interest, but merely panders. She's got no friends in Europe, who we still need to be good friends with post Brexit. She doesn't answer questions, just comes out with hollow soundbites and generalisations. Her manifesto is just a string of generalisations with a few nuggets of ill thought out, un-consulted on detail which, following the merest scrutiny falls apart and leads to embarrassing u-turns and so the detail falls away. She can't debate Jeremy Corbyn or stand up to anyone so I really fear for Brexit negotiations with her in charge. Plus her record on policing and security is rightly coming under sharp scrutiny and her cuts being shown for what they are - dangerous and unfair. If the Tories do win as expected then I also hope they oust her ASAP and get someone competent and actually "strong and stable" in who will marginalise the likes of Boris, Fox and Davis. Plus someone who will get rid of Hunt, who is a disgusting worm.
